Error code 30169-4 can occur if your antivirus security, malware security or your firewall is interfering with the installation of Office. Even the proxy settings on your computer can cause this error.
First, temporarily turn off the antivirus to verify if that helps correct the error.
Disable antivirus security on the computer, install Office 2013 or Office 365 Suite and re-enable the antivirus. If you need help on how to stop your antivirus software, visit the manufacturer’s product support website for information. If you are not sure that the antivirus is on the computer, follow these steps:
- Open the Control Panel.
- Click System and security.
- In the Activity Center, click Check the status of your computer.
- Click Security to find the name of the antivirus software.
After that, disabling the security software, temporarily turn off the firewall:
Turn off the firewall on your computer, install Office and turn on the firewall again. If you are using a third-party firewall, visit their website for information on how to temporarily disable the firewall.
Installation of an office program: –
- Go to office.com/setup and enter the product key
- If you have an online account, enter the username and password.
- Click on Install
