Disabling Firewall and Antivirus for the Time being:

Running SFC scan to eradicate Error Code Error Code 0-1036:

1. Change the following keys
2. License Servers
3. License Server Redirection
4. Auto Expand DLs Enable
5. Passport Auth Provider

Re-Installation:

If by following all of the above process you are still unable to eradicate Error code 0-1036 (0) then it’s better to re install properly.

1. Go to “Control Panel” > “Program and Features”
2. Select “Microsoft Office” > “Uninstall”
3. Once it is completely uninstalled. Try installing Office Setup. ( Keep online and connected while Rebooting
